Then join our group of friendly, local, and community-minded volunteers in our fight for change. We need members and supporters to help with door knocking, phone banking and delivering campaign materials.

Door knocking

We run regular sessions in:

Hythe every Tuesday from 6pm – 7pm. 

Folkestone every Saturday morning 10.30am – 12.00pm (not the 3rd Sat). 

Romney Marsh every fourth Saturday at 11.00am. 

Knocking on strangers’ doors is not something that comes naturally to me. But, I just tagged along to begin with and went at my own pace. After a few sessions, I’m really enjoying myself.

 

It’s exciting to be out on the doorstep talking to people who so obviously want a change.

 

It’s made me realise how important it is to get good information out there. I’ve met lifelong Labour supporters planning on voting Lib Dem because they think that’s the best way to get our Tory MP out. It’s clear that we need all hands on deck to make sure people know that Labour is the only challenger to the Tories in our area.

 

It feels like a real opportunity to elect the first ever Labour MP in Folkestone & Hythe, and the more members who get out there speaking to the voters the better our chances will be.

Delivering campaign materials

The Folkestone & Hythe parliamentary seat includes tens of thousands of households, and we currently have essential campaign materials that need delivering to as many of those as possible.

Even if you’re not ready to start knocking on doors, you can still make a huge difference ensuring that our message gets out to voters now and in the run up to the next general election.
